Cell Phones

Cell phones are now one of the biggest things that technology has to offer and has been on the rise in the past decade. So many kids are in love with their cell phone and are always on them. They rely on their own cell phones then many things in the world like their friends or their families. The kids in today's society are always texting one another or talking to one another in some other ways. Also there are apps now on cell phones, so there are so many kids that playing games on their cell phones just to past time. Kids now in days say that their cell phones are their most valuable possession and can function or would no be able to live without their cell phones. When the question if you were on a deserted island and you could bring one item what would that item be, so many kids would say they would pick their cell phone over anything else.
There are rarely any kids that do not use or have their own cell phones. I do not think that parents do not let their kids have their own cells phone that are in high school or junior high. I am pretty sure every kid in high school has a cell phone because now I see kids that are in second or third grade that have their own cell phones because their parents let them have them because it is part of the fads now in days. I think that the amount of time a kids spend on their phone really depends on how strict their parents are or how much money they have. If a kid gets a phone when they are young they will be on their phone a lot when they are older. If someone has strict parents they might be able to use their cell phones a lot.  Also the type of phone they have really rely on how much a kid will use their cell phone. If they have a very nice touch phone they would use it a lot more then a crappy little flip phone. If you have a more updated phone you would be able to do much more things on it.
I consider myself one of those kids who rarely uses their cell phone. I rarely use my cell phone because i do not really need it and i kind of hate having one. I keep telling my i do not need a cell phone and it is just a waste of money for me to have one. When i am on my own in college i do not plan on having my own phone. Majority of the time the reason i do not use my cell phone is because i rarely have my cell phone on me. My friends know that so they do not even text me any more they just come straight to my House to hang out. I also do not use my cell phone because i feel that technology will one day be the reason why the world will end so i try not to participate in using it so much.
